Each person must live their life as a model for others.

Treatment Approach

At Bradford Counselling Service, we believe in empowering the clients as the experts of their own lives and use narrative therapy as an important tool in this process. We examine the client’s history, strengths and accomplishments in relation to the problem they are currently facing. Our approach views the problem as separate from the client and believes they have the skills and competencies to help them change their relationship with that problem. Our job is to collaborate with clients while they explore new and more meaningful ways of thinking and behaving. By asking the right questions, we help our clients find the answers they’re seeking.

Together, we come up with a preferred outcome in which the client realizes his or her full potential to move forward, cope with the issue at hand, and live a productive, fulfilling life.
