Naomi Hoffenberg, MSW, RSW
is the owner and primary clinician of Bradford Counselling Service. She is a registered social worker and a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the Ontario Association of Social Workers.
After losing her own father to cancer at age 14, Naomi began her journey to assist others in their time of need and help them recognize that they are not alone.
Naomi’s extensive experience includes counselling individuals, couples, and families, crisis counselling, case management, and advocating on behalf of clients in child welfare cases, frontline work in homeless shelters, facilitating support groups, and giving educational presentations.
Naomi also volunteers her time in the community to help make Bradford West Gwillimbury an inclusive town that recognizes the worth of each individual.
Credentials and Education
Naomi obtained her bachelor’s degree in social work from Ryerson University in 2002, and a Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor’s MSW for working professionals program in 2011. In 2010, Naomi interned with a hospice organization and received training and experience in bereavement counselling and group facilitation. In 2013, Naomi completed a year-long certification program in brief and narrative therapy with families, couples, and individuals at the Hincks-Dellcrest Centre – Gail Appel Institute in Toronto.
